Customer Letters
Dear Golden Rule Builders,
I wanted to write to thank you for the work you have done on our house. We could not be happier with the quality craftsmanship and the difference it has made for our family. The work done has truly changed our lives and we are so grateful for everything you and your company have done.I especially wanted to commend you on the workers we have gotten to know through this process. We truly feel like they have become members of the family instead of just contractors working on our house.
From our first visit with Dennis we knew we were in great hands. His vision, knowledge and experience made us feel at ease, and his design for the renovation was absolutely amazing...
Golden Rule Builders has not only renovated our house but has improved the quality of our lives. We could never have imagined the difference in our lifestyle that your work has made, but you have truly transformed our lives. We pray that God continues to richly bless Golden Rule Builders and your families because you have truly blessed ours.
Joel,
This is a long overdue letter of appreciation for our "framing crew," Tim, Lloyd 1, Lloyd 2 and David. As Jenn would say, they became "our guys," and they will be missed.Every morning we brought out coffee, and the gesture was always appreciated, never expected.... Tim or Lloyd was usually the first to arrive, no matter how inclement the weather, and they were always mindful of the fact that we still had 3 sleeping kids at 0600. All of the crew were consistently polite and amiable, and some of the friendliest people I've met.
Tim in particular should be singled out for his exceptional customer service skills. He never failed to check in with us to see if there were any issues that needed to be addressed, and was always very sensitive to the fact that there was a family living next to a construction site. He's not aware of this, but several different subs I spoke with were very complementary of his work, saying things like "the framing is really solid," and that "no shortcuts were taken." As a homeowner, hearing unsolicited comments like that only serve to reinforce that our home will be around for many generations to come. Foundation and framing are really the strength of a home after all.
In conclusion, I believe Golden Rule Builders is lucky to have such a talented and dedicated crew. It is important to recognize quality effort in every form it takes, and these guys are superior performers.
John, Mark, Dennis, etc. at Golden Rule,
I am thankful my bathroom is finished!!! I wanted to let you know that I would be happy to be a reference for your company. It is easy to find happy customers when the job goes well (hopefully) but better still when the job had as many challenges as mine. Without going into details, I would say that you worked through all the setbacks, promptly returned phone calls, were a pleasure to have around and were fair.

Dear Mr. Barkman,
Now that we are entering the final stages of the project, we thought it would be fitting to express our gratitude to some of the folks at Golden Rule who have helped make our new home a quality structure we can both be proud of.After several trips to the construction site during the framing stage, our anxiety was relieved and we realized we were in good hands with the experienced framing crew. They always had time to answer our questions in a friendly and professional manner. Their craftsmanship and accuracy was evident as a pile of lumber was transformed into our new home. In conclusion, any organization is only as good as its people. You have assembled a top notch team. We have no hesitation recommending Golden Rule Builders to anyone who desires a quality home. Our lasting impression will be your desire to make us happy with our home and always being available when we needed to talk.
Sincerely,
Loretta and Fred M.
